網目文様そのものは古伊万里の器でめずらしくないが、全面墨はじきの技法をつかって、白抜きで表現しているのがオシャレである。墨はじきは前掲のうさぎの猪口のと同じで、墨（またはなんらかの撥水剤）で網目文様を描いて、その上から呉須を塗って焼いたものである。口縁には鉄釉をほどこしている。小ぶりだが、造りはていねいである。

Mesh pattern is not rare in Imari ware, but this is expressed as white lines in a blue background, which is opposite to ordinary mesh patterns. The mesh is drawn by a water repellent and a blue glaze is painted over it. This is a small cup but made skillfully.
