上に伸びる植物の葉のような文様が正面と向こう側に２ヶ所、シンプルな縦縞が左右に２ヶ所あり、さらに葉の両脇に渦巻きを縦にいくつも並べた文様が、縦縞の両脇に花びらのようなものを縦に並べた文様がそれぞれ描かれる。ことばにするとわけがわからないが、躍動感があって、モダンな印象を与える、18世紀古伊万里の新感覚デザインである。見込みには五弁花。

There are two patterns like growing leaves at the front and back and two vertical stripes at the left and right. Also two patterns of vortices at both sides of each leaf pattern, and two patterns of repeating flower petals at both sides of each vertical stripe. It is complex in words, but the cup itself gives a lively feeling and a rather modern impression. There is a five-petal symbol at the bottom.
