こでまりの花というか、まさに鉱物の花といっていい、かわいらしい方解石の群晶。いわゆる「犬牙状（けんがじょう）」の結晶の集合で、一個だけ大きい結晶が鬼の角のようで、それもまたかわいらしい。欠けているのでよくわからないが、双晶の可能性もある。黄銅鉱のかけらもついている。

宮田又鉱山は、荒川鉱山のすぐ北側に位置する（鉱床の位置図参照）。荒川鉱山は明治時代に興隆した古い銅山であるが、発見自体は古いものの、宮田又鉱山が大規模に開発されたのは戦中〜戦後になってからである。荒川鉱山の標本はいまや希少だが、宮田又の標本はまだ手に入れやすい。どちらの鉱山も三角式黄銅鉱を産したことで知られる。

This can be said a mineral flower. The crystal shape is scalenohedral (dog's tooth). A piece of chalcopyrite is also attached. Miyatamata mine is located at north of Arakawa mine, which was active in Meiji era. Miyatamata mine is developed in Showa era. Both mines are known to have produced tabular triangle chalcopyrite.
