色絵 七宝唐草文 Treasure, Arabesque

口径 width 51 mm / 高さ height 65 mm
色絵で七宝の絵柄が表と裏、２面に、さらに金彩の唐草模様も描かれている、たいへん豪華な猪口である。2面の境界には染付で太い線が縦に引かれていて、それが全体を引き締めていると思う。口べりには金彩がのっている。七宝文も隠れ蓑と同様、おめでたい絵柄。さぞかしお膳を引き立てた猪口だったろう。
One of traditional treasure, "Shippo", is painted on two faces with colored glaze, and also golden arabesque around it. Two faces are divided by thick vertical blue lines, which make the entire atmosphere of this cup better. I guess this was a small but a gorgeous supporting item in banquet.
