尾去沢の水晶・黄鉄鉱 Quartz & Pyrite from Osarizawa

丈の短い水晶のクラスター（群晶）に、細かい黄鉄鉱の結晶が散りばめられている。尾去沢鉱山のような鉱脈型の鉱山ではよく産する標本なのかもしれないが、それにしても、ただ単純に、きれいだな、と思う。
尾去沢鉱山の水晶は、全体に白濁しているが、結晶の先端だけ透明になるのが多いそうだ。このグラデーションも、景色として好ましい感じがする。
Small crystals of pyrite on a cluster of quartz. Quartz crystals of Osarizawa Mine are usually white but the top is transparent. This gradation makes the specimen more attractive.
