染付 満月文様 Full Moon

白丸２つと波文様が、ちょうど点対称に配置され、それが三面に割りつけられた、ユニークな図柄である。雲の合間に満月が出て、それが水面に映っているようすを図案化したものだとおもう。これと同じような文様の古伊万里の器で、白丸の中にススキの絵がかかれているのを何例か見たことがある（流水丸文とか薄丸文などと呼ばれている）が、これは真っ白である。わちゃわちゃ絵がかかれるよりこっちのほうがシンプルで、なにか神秘的な感じがして、好ましい。器は大ぶりで、見込みは五弁花。おそらく18世紀中頃のものだとおもう。
A unique design of two white circles and wavy pattern positioned in a point-symmetric manner. I guess it represents a full moon and a cloud and their reflected image on a water surface. I have seen some other Imari ware that is similar to this cup but with a susuki (Japanese pampas grass) picture inside the circle. This cup is relatively big and there is a five-petal symbol, suggesting it was made around the mid 18th century.
