東京ミネラルショー 2019 Tokyo Mineral Show
日曜日、東京ミネラルショー（池袋ショー）を2時間ほど駆け足で見て回った。以下、お迎えした3点ほどを紹介する。
Last Sunday I looked around Tokyo Mineral Show (Ikebukuro Show) just for two hours. Here I show three pieces that arrived to me.
1. 石門の石黄 Orpiment from Shimen
標本高さ height: 45 mm / 重さ weight: 43 g
ひとつ目は石黄（雄黄）の結晶標本。方解石をともなう。この産地の標本は堀秀道「楽しい鉱物図鑑」（草思社）でも紹介されている。濃いオレンジ色で半透明の立派な柱状結晶に惹かれた。アタマも出ている。実は同産地の標本が他店で売られているのを以前見たことがあるが、サイズが大きすぎて二の足を踏んだのだった。今回は大きさが手頃だった。
The first one is a specimen of orpiment with calcite from Shimen, China. Hori Hidemichi's famous pictorial book of mineral picks an orpiment specimen from the same locality. I liked the dark orange translucent well terminated crystals and the size was nicer to me than those I have ever seen.
2. サンマリーの赤鉄鉱 Hematite from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines
高さ Height 4.5 cm
つづいてサンマリー・ミネラルショーで有名なフランス・サンマリー＝オーミーン産の赤鉄鉱。六角薄板状の結晶が何枚か積み重なって塊をつくり、それらが多数モザイク状に寄せ集まった。いわゆる雲母鉄鉱で、赤味を帯びた細かい鉄石英をともなう。このような晶相をしめす赤鉄鉱標本は多数あるが、この産地のものはなんとも独特な趣がある。これまた以前同産地の標本を見たことがあったが、あまりに立派すぎて値段も高かったので二の足を踏んでいた。こういうのを安物買いの銭失いというのか・・・
This is a kind of micaceous hematite with reddish quartz from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines known as a venue for a big mineral show. The crystalized face resembles a mosaic, each piece being composed of a number of thin hexagonal parallel grown plates. Micaceous hematite is not rare but the ones from this locality seem special to me.

An intersection. The tabular specimen is almost pure hematite.
3. 秩父の板状方鉛鉱 Platy Galena from Chichibu
最後は日本の業者から日本の鉱物。
The last one is a Japanese mineral from a Japanese dealer.
この写真での最大幅は約 29 mm。
秩父鉱山ではこのような六角板状の方鉛鉱が知られていて、通称「バンガレ（板状ガレナ）」という。八面体2個がくっついたスピネル式双晶で、六面体の面も出ているので六角形の板状になる。以前紹介したダリネゴルスクのものは大変立派だが、こちらは全体に酸化が進んでガサガサしていて、標本としてはかなり貧弱である。ただなかなか見ない品なので、この際だから手に入れておこうと思った。これまた安物買いの銭失いか・・・
Platy galena due to spinel-law twin is well known in Chichibu mine. Though this specimen is considerably oxidized in contrast to the fresh Dalnegorsk example, I wanted to obtain a rare Japanese piece.
日本最大のミネラルショーを堪能するのに2時間は短すぎた。
Two hours were too short for me to be satisfied with the biggest mineral show in Japan.
