亀山盛・日三市鉱山 Kisamori & Hisaichi Mines
帰省のついでに秋田の鉱山跡をいくつかめぐってみた。まずは銅や鉛の二次鉱物で有名な亀山盛鉱山。沢沿いを歩くとズリ（廃石）の崖があらわれる。
I visited abandoned mines in Akita. First one is Kisamori known as occurrence of secondary minerals of copper and lead. A cliff of debris appears after a walk along a river.
亀山盛鉱山 Kisamori Mine
大仙市の協和ダムの脇の林道を道なりに進んだ大倉沢沿いにズリ捨場が残されている（越口沢の看板までは車ではいれる）。道は下草が多く、探訪時は晴れていたが、それまでに雨がふっていたのか、ズボンびしょぬれになった。とある情報によると、去年の大雨で、ズリの崖の下部付近が崩壊し、埋もれていた廃石があらわになったそうだ。たしかに川床から高さ 10 m くらいまでえぐれたふうになっている。というわけで、川原の石を観察してみると、緑っぽい銅の二次鉱物があちこちに落ちている。白鉛鉱のきれいな結晶とかないかな？と期待したが、わたしのスキルでは探せなかった。ともかく暑くて、アブが多くて、１時間もせず退散した（写真がボケてるのはアブのせいです）。
Debris from Kisamori mine remains nearly at the end of a road along Kyowa dam and Okura-Sawa river in Daisen City. The road near the site was covered by underbrush. Recent heavy rain seems to erode the lower part of the cliff. There were some green stones that included secondary minerals of copper. I hoped to find cerussite, but my skill was not enough to do so. I left there soon because of the heat and horseflies.
日三市鉱山 Hisaichi Mine
仙北市にある日三市川の上流部の平坦地に鉱山施設跡があり、さらに山道をのぼったところにズリ捨場がある。標高は 300 〜 350 m 程度で、山向こうの亀山盛鉱山と同じくらいである。暑くて汗だくで、ズリ山をかけのぼる気力ゼロだったので、道沿いの石を中心に観察したが、亀山盛とちがって尾根筋で、長い年月で堆積物が安定しているらしく、表面の石は先達によってしらべ尽くされている感があった。それでも（たぶんだれかがひろった）黄銅鉱のかけらとか、紫水晶のかけらとか、孔雀石っぽいのとかが見られた。
There were the mining facilities at a flat area on the upper reach of Hisaichi river, Senboku City, and a debris field on the further upper part. The altitude of the latter field is similar to Kisamori mine, about 300-350 m. The surface part of the abandoned rocks look to be searched thoroughly, but a small piece of chalcopyrite, amethyst, and malachite are found.
これら二鉱山は、多くのガイドブックで紹介されているとおり、ズリ山をさがせばけっこうおもしろい鉱物がみつかる。わたしとしては、鉱山跡をたずねることができただけでひとまず満足した。
