木が二本、表と裏に色絵で描かれる。背景は赤絵の花弁文様。幹は紫色、葉っぱには緑、黃、青、金がつかわれていて、伝統的な古伊万里の色絵の具が総動員されている。江戸後期（19世紀）になると、さらにウグイス色（萌黄）、ピンク（正円子）、白などが加わるようである（九州陶磁文化館、古伊万里の見方３・装飾、2006）。

Two trees are drawn with color glazes. The background is flower-petal pattern. Major traditional Koimari colors (violet, green, yellow, blue and gold) are used in this small cup. In the 19th century, light blue, pink and white are also used.
