色絵 斜線文 Oblique Lines

まず染付で斜線文様をえがいて本焼き、ついで色絵付けをほどこして焼き、さらに金彩をのせてまた焼くという、たいへんな手間がかかったのぞき猪口である。絵付けの感覚もよく、器も薄造りで、江戸後期の上手作といってよいだろう。
This cup requires three firings; glazing blue oblique lines at first, some color patterns next, and the last firing is for glazing gold. Good design and thin body are enough to say this is one of the superior Imari ware in the 19th century.
