草花文 碗形猪口 Flowering Plants Cup

17世紀後半　Late 17th century
口径 top width 71 mm / 高台径 bottom width 36 mm / 高さ height 49 mm

正面に、ちょっと種はわからないが、なにか花の咲いた草が、裏面に、これもちょっと種は不明ながら蜘蛛のような虫が描かれる。素地は白く、染付の色も控えめで品がよく、器形も端正で文句ない。高台内に二重の圏線があるのがやや珍しい。17世紀末、古伊万里盛期の作品と思われる。骨董屋によると寛文・延宝期（1661-1681）までさかのぼるかもしれないという（そうすると 350 年前の器ということになる）。

An unknown plant is drawn on the front and an unknown insect (spider?) on the back. The body is white, the blue color is fine, and the shape is excellent. Double circles on the bottom is rather rare. I think it was made in the late 17th century, when the Imari ware reached the maximum in quality, possibly in 1660s to 1670s as an antique shop owner said.

裏面を見返すと虫が一匹。ユーモアがある。江戸の文化の成熟を感じる。

高台のつくりは丁寧で、圏線にもまったくぶれがない。職人のスキルの高さは相当と考えられる。
